Get To Know Me // Ellie J

Hello, lovelies,
It is time for one of the most narcissistic blog posts ever 😂😂.  Anyway, you all voted for this blog post on my Instagram, so with this post, I thought I would do a sort of random facts, get to know me type post I guess.

My day to day life is pretty boring (as is for any 17 year old), although I upload Disney pictures every day on Instagram I spend most of my days at Sixth Form college studying my 4 a levels, watching youtube/BTS run, and scrolling through Instagram. The A levels I am studying are History, Media, Creative Writing and Extended Project. I am going to university in September to study Media Production and I hope to do something in the film industry when I leave.

As aforementioned I love Disney, even though I may have only been to one Disney park on one occasion, my interests lie in the history of Disney and the animation techniques, influence, etc. I am actually doing this for my extended project A-level but a lot of stuff isn't relevant to my essay focus so I would love to share some Disney history on here. As I have become more interested in Disney and the history and animation within Disney I have started looking at more animation such as Studio Ghibli. I could talk about both Disney and Studio Ghibli for hours but I won't bore you all with it, all I will say is if you like Disney check out Studio Ghibli.

I think part of my newfound love for Studio Ghibli is my love for Asian culture, I remember when I was younger (and I mean around 6 or 7) watching documentaries on Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. I would love to travel around Asia in the future I have a lot of different interests in these cultures, from the language, rich history, beautiful architecture to pop culture with the growth of K-Pop, J-Pop and anime.

Which is a nice segway into my love for BTS. If you follow me on Instagram (or know me in real life) you will probably be thinking here she goes again on about this band. I know a LOT of people don't really get K-Pop and for me personally, I think it is a great example of the multi-cultural society we live in and I think its great to appreciate another countries pop culture. These guys genuinely love the work they are creating and appreciate their fans so much (ARMY). I would highly suggest anyone whether you like BTS or K-Pop or J-Pop or none to watch BTS run because it is tv show level production web-show which is available for free (on V live). As I say it is just something fun to watch for around 20 minutes once a week, where they partake in different games i.e. Zombie run, dog training, etc. I will shut up now before the focus of the blog post changes.

I don't really know what else to talk about in this blog post I could go on for an eternity about my interests in other areas such as Vintage, Audrey Hepburn, my love for Pride and Prejudice and so much more. I might do a Q and A in the future but I think that is quite far into the future for the level of my blog currently (I'm rambling ~ again).

I hope you all enjoyed this or found out something you didn't know, thanks for reading.

Sending Love,

Ellie x
